有相似之处,但是用法不完全相同,其中suppose的用法比supposing更加广泛.

1. supposing一般视为连词,类似于if,引导条件状语从句,但是句子一般不用虚拟语气.

如：Supposing (that) this is not the right way to the station, what shall we do?

2. suppose也有类似用法,但是句子可以使用虚拟语气.

如：Suppose you had one million dollars, what would you do?

3. suppose还有其他用法,这是supposing所没有的.

如：Suppose his statement is true. 假定他的供述正确.

Suppose we go hiking tomorrow. 我们明天远足吧.
