distinction

property
n.特性,属性;财产,地产;[戏]道具;所有权
property 和 feature 都有 characteristic（特征）的意思 不过properties一般是指（普通的）特性的意思,feature一般指的是特别的/引人注目的特征/特性.distiction虽然有特质的意思但是通常作区别用.
比如说:
The properties of this cell phone is to receive and send messages.
这个手机的特性是接受和发送短信.
（在这里 是指一些普通的特性）
The special features of this cell phone is to play music.
这个手机的特征是可以听音乐.
（在这里 是指与众不同的特性.）
